Welcome to Year 1!

Welcome to our wonderful Year 1 class, where learning is an adventure and every day is a chance to learn, play and grow!
Our values are Courage, Compassion and Respect. We encourage our children to be brave, kind, and caring, while developing confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
We are taught by Mrs Smith on Mondays and Mrs Borowska from Tuesday to Friday, supported by our fantastic teaching assistants, Miss Abdali and Mrs Roberts. We also have our special class mascot, Daisy the cuddly dog, who joins us on all our adventures! 🐶
Through learning through play, hands-on activities, and exciting experiences, we explore the world around us, learn about our emotions, develop friendships and teamwork, discover the joy of reading, and build new skills every day.
Most importantly, we have fun, celebrate our successes, learn from our mistakes, and encourage each other to be brave, be kind and be fabulous!
