The members of Gardening Club have been very busy this season! At the start of term we had to prepare our raised beds, soil needed to be transferred and then we planted lots of crops including: Potatoes, Tomatoes, Beans, Herbs, Courgettes and Kale and these are now starting to be harvested!

 

The children took home potatoes this week and more items are available to take home! They are being put on a table outside the office from today and all through next week as we dig up/pick various crops! Please help yourselves! Any donations welcome, these will go towards much needed tools and equipment for gardening club!

 

We have also tended the willow arch, weeding, pruning and tying it in. 

 

During the last week of term we were able to harvest what we'd planted in Spring! We had enough delicious produce to set up a small shop after school each day! All proceeds went back to buy equipment for Gardening club.
