School Houses
When children enter our school they are placed into one of four Houses; Calverley (red), Dunorlan (blue) Grove (yellow) or Hawkenbury (green). During the week children collect House points for their House for everything from being polite to good work.

House Captains, a Year 6 boy and girl, are elected by their House and collect the points on a Friday morning. In our assembly the total is revealed and the House Cup is presented to the winning House Captains for that week.
A running total is kept and at the end of each term the winning House has their colours tied to the house cup and displayed in the school hall. .
The Houses come together once a term for a House assembly which is led by the Captains.
On sports day children wear a t shirt in their house colour and compete to gain paints for their house. The winning house is awarded the sports day shield.
