St Peter's Church of England Primary School

Information For Kent Test External Candidates

Welcome to St Peter's CE Primary School. Today we are hosting the Kent Test for external candidates. Only pre-registered pupils are able to sit the test with us here today.

Please note we have limited parking on site. There is parking in the car park at Hawkenbury Recreation ground. Please note some of the surrounding roads have restricted parking.

On arrival:

Please drop your child at the front of the school, where they will be greeted by a member of the school staff who will sign them into the school.

Parents will not be able to enter the building.

There is a list outside at the front of the school showing row number allocations. Your child should check which row they will be sat in. If needed, staff will be on hand to help your child identify their row number. Rows are organised in the hall alphabetically. Numbers are shown on the wall by each row. Your child will find their name on the table in their row.

Children should have been to the toilet before they arrive. They will be offered another opportunity to use the toilet before the test and in between papers.

It is not possible for any parent to wait on site during the testing period. Please drop your child and return at the end of the test.

Collection:

Once the test has been completed and at the time shown below, parents should walk down the slope to the right of the building and onto the main playground as shown in the pictures.

Children will then be released from the hall doors (not from the front of the school) in alphabetical order.

Please wait for your child's name to be called and step forward and raise your hand at this time.

Please ensure you are on time for collection:

Morning Candidates: collection at 12:30 (car park gates will open from 12:15)

Afternoon Candidates: 17:00 (car park gates will open from 16:45)

Do not ring the school bell.

All the adults running the testing today are St Peter's school staff. We will do our best to ensure your children feel comfortable and relaxed.

Staff include:

Mrs Langton (Headteacher)

Mrs Smith (Deputy Headteacher)

Mrs Page (School Admin lead)

Mrs Brickle (Year 6 teacher)

Miss Graveney (Year 3 teacher)

This is the front of the school for drop off. The path to the right leads to the playground for collection at the end.

These are the hall doors where your child is to be collected at the end of the test.

This is the way you need to walk to find the hall doors.
