    Morning

The doors at the back of the building are opened at 8.30am and ‘morning work’ is set for the children to complete.

Registration starts at 8.35 and should be completed by 8.45 a.m.

Collective Worship

Collective Worship is held daily at 10:15am. Our vicar from St Peter's Church leads our Collective Worship on Thursdays.

Parents are invited to attend our Friday Celebration Assembly.

Lateness

At St Peter’s CEP School the register is taken at 8.45am and 1.15pm. Pupils arriving after these times must enter school by the main entrance and report to Reception where their name and reason for lateness will be recorded. The pupil will be marked as late before registration has closed.

The register will close at 8.45am and 1.15pm. Pupils arriving after the register has closed will be marked as late after registration and this will count as an unauthorised absence.

Frequent lateness after the register has closed will be discussed with parents and could provide grounds for prosecution or a Penalty Notice.

After School

At the end of the day the children are taken to the appropriate exit (Mars, Pluto and Earth class - their classroom door; Neptune and Mercury – the external door at the bottom of the stairs nearest their classrooms; Saturn and Jupiter - the external door at the bottom of the stairs by the hall) and are handed over to their parent or carer by the dismissing teacher.

At the end of the school day no child is allowed to leave the school without the teacher’s permission and without the teacher knowing who has collected the child. Written permission needs to be received for a child walking home on their own. If a child is being collected by anyone other than their parents, the school asks for parents to notify the school office of this arrangement.

Children who have clubs or who have not been collected will then be taken to the relevant places.
