What an amazing time it has been for our children and their brand new library at St Peter's!

We had a wonderful Grand Opening where so many of you joined the children to celebrate our vibrant, new space for reading, discovery and enjoyment of books. The children spent the day with children's author, Ross Montgomery, who took them on a journey through his books, I Am Rebel and Ten Delicious Teachers. He spoke to the children about how he works as an author, enthused them to try their own writing and gave the children the opportunity to ask questions. It was wonderful to see so many of you buying Ross's books at the end of the day. I have reminded the children that if they don't have any of his books at home, we have lots of copies in the library.

We were also honoured to open our library in the presence of The Mayoress of Tunbridge Wells who reminded the children of how lucky they were to be able to enjoy our well- stocked, inviting library.
