Timelines

Today in table groups Mercury class were asked to create their own version of the Ancient Greece timeline. They begin by looking at the different periods of time and what events happened in these periods. From this the children then created their timeline beginning in the year 2200BC up to 100AD. Going up in intervals of 100 years the children then worked out when certain periods of time occurred during the Ancient Greece timeline. After, they compared our timeline to those of other world timelines that would have been happening during the ancient Greek time, including ancient Egypt, Maya civilisation and the Iron age in Britain.
