Gardening Club

The members of Gardening Club were very busy last season! At the start of term we had to prepare our raised beds, soil needed to be transferred and then we planted lots of crops including: Potatoes, Tomatoes, Beans, Herbs, Courgettes and Kale which were then harvested!

 

The children took home potatoes and other vegetables at the end of term! They were put on a table outside the office as we dug up/pick various crops! Everyone helped themselves and donations went towards much needed tools and equipment for gardening club!

 

We also tended the willow arch, weeding, pruning and tying it in. 

 

During the last week of term we were able to harvest what we'd planted in Spring! We had enough delicious produce to set up a small shop after school each day! All proceeds went back to buy equipment for Gardening club.
